The TAIKO Group, with TAIKO HOLDINGS as the holding company, is comprised of four companies:
TAIKO KIKAI INDUSTRIES, MarFlex (Netherlands), CHUGOKU ELECTRIC SERVICE and SANYO ENGINEERING.
Each of our group companies offers great expertise that facilitates growth.

All-around manufacturer of “Fluid transfer equipment,”
developing our business in three different areas: marine,
industrial and electromagnetic

TAIKO KIKAI INDUSTRIES, the core company in the TAIKO Group, was established in 1956 and is an all-around manufacturer of “Fluid transfer equipment.” In the marine, industrial and electromagnetic business divisions, we design, manufacture and sell different pumps primarily for the marine industry, industrial applications (factories and facilities) and electromagnetic drive applications (medical care, health and environment).
We have been offering marine products longer than any other, a one-stop service product lineup that covers all types of pumps required for vessels, featuring gear pumps with our uniquely designed “Segmental gears,” centrifugal pumps as well as sewage treatment devices and bilge separators.
In industrial applications, we design and manufacture a wide range of products, including roots blowers that feature different machine models with both large and small sizes. Our screw-type dry vacuum pumps equipped with a unique screw design have been adopted in plants and production facilities for semiconductors, LCDs, solar cells, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
In electromagnetic drive applications, we develop and manufacture diaphragm blowers for a broad range of applications, such as for air supply used in fish-breeding and live fish tanks as well as aquariums, for septic tanks and for built-in components used in medical and health care devices that require compact, high-performance specifications.
TAIKO KIKAI has developed and manufactured more than 7,000 kinds of products in a number of industries, but recently, we have been focusing more on sustainable businesses and product development, such as energy-saving products, eco products and small hydropower generation.

Long-established manufacturer
of motor-driven deep-well pumps based in the Netherlands with a customer base in Europe

Based in the suburbs of Rotterdam, Netherlands, MarFlex is a long-established manufacturer of motor-driven deep-well pumps mainly for marine applications. In 1997, TAIKO KIKAI entered into a partnership with MarFlex securing exclusive rights to sell motor-driven deep-well pumps in Japan. Thereafter, TAIKO KIKAI continued to work together with MarFlex in product development and manufacturing, fortifying a strong relationship for over twenty years, which culminated in MarFlex becoming a member of the TAIKO Group in 2018.
The motor-driven deep-well pumps developed by MarFlex form a product lineup that targets vessels, offshore structures as well as all types of industrial applications. These products offer tremendous advantages with premium quality and robust structures based on advanced development and excellent designs. Beyond product development and manufacturing, we also have a customer training department in place in order to ensure the products are properly used, maintained and managed.
Even before joining the TAIKO Group, the MarFlex sales area had expanded throughout Europe. Yet after joining the group, we have continued to pull resources together and the synergy effect with the TAIKO Group has gained more traction, allowing our sales area to extend into Asia as well. Going forward, we shall continue to pursue this group synergy, which includes product development, raise our corporate value and aim for higher business growth.

Product Design Department at MarFlex head office in charge of developing and designing deep-well pumps. Expert engineers are the backbone of MarFlex product reliability.

MarFlex deep-well pumps use pressure-resistant, explosive-proof type motors on the decks of vessels to drive the pump heads in the tanks. Compared to the traditional hydraulically driven products, these pumps offer high system efficiency without vibrations.

Snijders, a subsidiary of MarFlex, is an automation system engineering company that provides “intelligent automation solutions.” The scope of their solutions covers a broad range, including marine, logistics, food processing and agricultural industries. The company’s wealth of experience and expertise are crucial for MarFlex to achieve its goal of a “Crewless Cargo Pump.” Utilizing mechanical technology in conjunction with electrical control technology shows the effectiveness and advantages of combining resources.
